Actors are panicking now because of this girl. She can do every role you give her. She wont mind doing her own stunts,She wont be a diva on the set.Her Talent fee is more affordable and she is not picky for roles. Yes she is now a registered actress and many actors and people hates that she is now a thing. You can make her star on a multiseason tv show and she wont age.

She wont say no to nudity, does her own stunts, can probably do multiple tv shows and movies at the same time and she wont age but can age if needed for the role

It's amazing to see how technology is changing the acting industry so quickly! If this "artist" can do everything tirelessly, agelessly, and at a low cost, then it's a challenge for ordinary actors. But instead of being afraid, it's an opportunity to learn, change, and show real humanity that machines can't replicate. Realism and emotion are still a unique treasure for humans.

Lol so am guessing there is like a fee to pay to be able to use her right? Like not everyone can have access to her easily.

The efficacy of such suit is likely to be debatable. Imagine if a private citizen in a far-off place on earth uses this character without obtaining permission from the owners.

I bet there are multiple other ai actors such as these. Soon the field will be so saturated with hordes of ai characters such that that their price will be extremely low. A win. But for whom?

I don't know why I aren't excited about this ai character. But why?

I am very excited about the arrival of Tilly Norwood as the first AI actor for hire. It is a sign that technology is changing the arts and entertainment at an incredible pace. This opens the door to limitless new creativity.
But I also know that there will be a wave of AI actors, and price drops are a natural part of competition. The fundamental question is: who benefits the most? Real artists may lose out, but consumers get a cheaper and faster service.

Calls to mind the fact that movie directors have to possess high-level people skills so as to handle the psychological and behavioral complexities of human actors. Are we staring at a situation where ai directors will eventually be creating films using such ai characters? Scary?

Honestly, I prefer real actors. AI actors lack feelings, empathy, and warmth. They can try to mimic emotions with AI, but they will never manage to be as emotional as a real actor. Plus, there are graphical errors, in the image you shared, we can see that she has six fingers...

Wow, AI is everywhere! When it's said and done, is there any job that'll be safe? The speed with which AI is being developed is ridiculous, especially because you just know given the choice between paying people or AI to do jobs, companies will always opt for AI. But where do we draw the line, when most people are roaming the streets jobless and looking to their governments to help them?

I don't like this. I can see why it has come about though. An AI 'actress' can't complain or request that her body not be shown in demeaning ways, and she'll always look like a teenager.
This thing can't draw on any life experience to produce real art. I'll be skipping movies it's in and hoping this trend doesn't catch on too much.

Registered with whom? With what organisation? Certainly not the Screen Actor's Guild.
"“SAG-AFTRA believes creativity is, and should remain, human-centered. The union is opposed to the replacement of human performers by synthetics.
“To be clear, “Tilly Norwood” is not an actor, it’s a character generated by a computer program that was trained on the work of countless professional performers — without permission or compensation. It has no life experience to draw from, no emotion and, from what we’ve seen, audiences aren’t interested in watching computer-generated content untethered from the human experience. It doesn’t solve any “problem” — it creates the problem of using stolen performances to put actors out of work, jeopardizing performer livelihoods and devaluing human artistry.
“Additionally, signatory producers should be aware that they may not use synthetic performers without complying with our contractual obligations, which require notice and bargaining whenever a synthetic performer is going to be used." https://www.sagaftra.org/sag-aftra-statement-synthetic-performer

She's not a girl. Reminds me of Janet from the TV show The Good Place.

The idea is a fair bit older than that. The book Idoru by William Gibson (1996) is another example.

I imagine people would get sick of her pretty quickly if that's the case. People were complaining about Jenna Ortega and Pablo Pascal being "in everything" because they did a lot of movies/shows close together.

Speaking of AI actors, there is one thing that I might actually agree with. I want Child Stars to be replaced by AI actors because there's so many horror stories of Child Stars being raped by producers and talent managers. And they end up becoming messes who are involved with drugs, alcoholism, and their lives get destroyed. Also, children get puberty so they grow up. Look how Netflix is forced to end Stranger Things even if it's a top show because it's hard to continue a show about children when the actors are now adults and one of them is already married.
