I am missing the Waltz, Fox trot and the Jazz dances

Postby bestwriter » 28 Oct 2025, 05:39

What we see these days I call them gymnastics and mostly they are solos. This surely speaks of the mind set of youngsters - the restlessness that plagues them.

The reality dance shows have a display of such dances. One wonders if they are getting ready to join a circus.

I even miss the Cha Cha Cha

Bro. these days dance is like a gym workout. Everyone dances solo like they're getting ready to enter the circus. The vibe of the street has changed, young people dance with a restless energy, no longer the old school flow. Reality shows are full of spin and jump moves, until you fail whether it's a dance or a stunt.

But it's not wrong to remember Cha Cha Cha. that had romance, rhythm, and a real connection. Maybe the street will return to its roots, where dance was a story of the soul and not just a show of muscles. There's still hope, bro. The old school vibe can come back.

The present generation will not know these genres that were so prevalent in the good old days that had grace.

Well, if you love ballroom dancing, you should watch Dancing with the Stars, or From the USA, and Strictly Come Dancing from the UK. It's basically a dancing contest where celebrities are taught how to dance old-school style, how to dance ballroom. Like Chacha, Jazz, foxtrot, and Tango.

If you like ballroom dancing bro you must check out shows like *Dancing with the Stars* from the US and *Strictly Come Dancing* from the UK. These are dance competitions where stars are taught to dance old styles like chacha jazz foxtrot and tango. It's a full vibe to see people learning and improving live on stage. You get inspiration and you also learn some cool moves while watching.

I share your sentiment. Dance has certainly evolved.

These days they are more like trapeze acts.

The old dances have a special richness. I long for dances like Waltz and Fox trot and Jazz. They were so beautiful and elegant.

But now this generation doesn't know those beautiful dances at all. They have only filled them with modern dances with bad movements. Even if you think about it, you will hear the sweet rhythm of the old.
