I think they want to take over because no one's subscribing to Paramount+, but HBO Max is much more successful. But right now, Warner Bros. made the mistake of purchasing Discovery, and Discovery is filled with debt. And because of that, Warner Bros. are in trouble even if they're making money.

Warner Bros. should like their wounds with an open mind. They can address the Discovery purchase mess with the income they are getting.

Warner Bros. was doing well back then that, you know, CW is a TV net channel that don't usually cancel shows. Shows are able to have four seasons at least. But because of the Discovery purchase, they had to pay a lot of debts. And yeah, that's the biggest mistake they ever did. I mean, who purchases Discovery? Who even watch nature documentaries these days? You can get them on YouTube for free.

Warner Bros. entering into a deal with Discovery was a move that caused them a lot of stress. They found themselves in deep debt and many fans see that as a big mistake. Imagine a company as big as this carrying the financial pressure because of a purchase that didn't resonate with many people. Now everyone is wondering who sees a bright future for investing in Discovery. This has left Warner's image looking like they've gone the wrong way. They've been struggling to recover but the damage is already done.

When competition in business gets tough like this, it is usually the audience or customers who benefit the most from it at the end of the day. Let's see what they have in store for us.

It is true that when competition is fierce in business, customers often benefit the most. Companies are struggling to provide better services at lower prices and new innovations to attract people. This creates an environment with more choices and higher quality for the customer. At the end of the day, the audience remains strong because they can choose the brand that gives them more value. Competition forces companies to be creative and focus on customer satisfaction. That is when the customer wins the game.

By the way, even if Netflix is finalizing its purchase of Warner Bros., Paramount is still fighting for it. They still want to get wb and they said that they will try to do hostile takeover to get it from Netflix.

Studios feel like they are in a constant arms race now. Paramount pushing new distribution ideas signals they do not want to fall behind while Warner Bros leans on its big franchises. Moves like this usually reshape release schedules and partnerships for years. It will be interesting to see who adapts faster because that decides who keeps the audience.

People assume that the bidding might take up to 2031 because the war continues.

It is but there is an aggressive way for Paramount to get it from Netflix. That is by buying the shares of shareholders.

If Paramount wants to seriously challenge Warner Bros. it could consider acquiring shares from Netflix shareholders. This move would demonstrate immense power in the entertainment industry, where competition between studios is fierce and each company strives for dominance. If Paramount succeeds, it will significantly increase its library and global influence, forcing Warner Bros. to rethink its strategy. Such moves illustrate how the media landscape is constantly evolving.

The real reasons why Paramount wants to buy Warner Bros is they want to get CNN which is owned by WB. Paramount is currently owned by a maga person and if they get to buy CNN, they can turn it into Fox News 2.0 and spread maga doctrine.

You’re right about the current state of the film industry. It seems like every studio is scrambling to find the next big hit. Paramount’s distribution experiments show its eagerness to innovate, while Warner Bros.’s bet on franchises seems like a safe, strong option. These changes aren’t just changing what audiences will see next year; their effects will last for years, shaping partnerships, release schedules, and even how streaming platforms negotiate. The key to success lies in adaptability; those who adapt most quickly will usually hold the attention of audiences.
