Netflix just revealed the cast of their live-action Scooby-Doo series. I think this was greenlit because of, you know, a few years ago, someone made a pilot for a live-action Scooby-Doo, but the actors are on their 30s instead of actual teenagers. This time around, they will have actual teenagers playing the role. The only one I recognize from the cast is McKenna Grace, because she is known as a former child star. She usually stars on horror movies. In the Bad Seed movie franchise, she plays a child who is a serial killer. Then in The Genius, she was the genius young girl who is being raised by her brother. Now she's going to play Daphne. I don't know if Scooby-Doo is going to be a real dog or a CGI.

Interesting that they are making a series instead of a movie. McKenna is also the only one I recognize, and she'll probably be the reason most people watch.

I do hope the live action series will be truthful to the source material once it comes out though.

It's based from this pilot movie, so it's going to be dark and not a comedy.



They replaced the pilot actors though because the pilot actors are way too old to play teenagers.
