Because if the atheists wanted Christians to change their minds, they'd use TDKR as an example of 'the mythical story becoming more important than the truth the story teaches.'

In case you don’t remember (obvious SPOILER ALERT if you haven’t seen Christopher Nolan’s Batman-trilogy (Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, The Dark Knight Rises) ...

TDK ends with Batman saving Jim Gordon’s son by killing Two-Face (the villain whom Harvey Dent had become), and then agreeing to take the blame for murdering Harvey Dent.

Gotham City then went on to idolize Dent--naming a bill that ended ‘organized crime’ after him, and giving him a holiday--which Dent himself did not deserve (at-least not the way the people thought he did.)

That draws an obvious parallel to another set of events that aren’t the true Truth that everyone needs to know, but are assumed to be the truth (with a holiday-or-two arranged in their honor).

Nobody cares if Christians have a change of heart and mind except for fellow Christians.

Well it is clear that they don't care, and I think it's just best for everyone to just do and follow what they believe in.
