I do know people who would prefer having access to only theism-inspired shows, especially for their children. I don't necessarily agree with raising children in a vacuum, but other parents have different ways of raising their families.

Wow, I had no idea! And it's been around for a while too. I guess it's not on my radar because I'm big on keeping things 'real' - well, as real as possible. I like to see everything bar violence. But I know a few Christians who absolutely hate nudity and violence and would probably prefer this type of bland content  A friend told me she loves Korean drama because it's very clean and everything is implied.

I was perusing the various apps for my Fire TV for the category of Movies & TV and I saw Pureflix. I did not download it because I already have quite a few apps. One time I turned on the TV and got a message that said I needed to get rid of some apps that I wasn't using. I don't know. Maybe they were hogging up memory. :? But it's good to know the app is there. My son pays for the Netflix subscription so it's up to them to decide if they want to unsubscribe.

A Christian version of Netflix? No, I am certainly not interested in watching some channel which streams shows devoid of some eroticism and nudity, especially if it's a paid channel.

It's geared to the specific audience. There is a huge market for it. Just like the Dove and Hallmark channels.

The thing is their content is either bland or ridiculously hilarious. I mean Hallmark makes religious friendly content too but they are watchable for everybody.

I could download the app for PureFlix on my Fire TV but I never bothered. I used to watch Hallmark when we had cable TV. But now I don't get it. I did kind of like the Hallmark channel. I tell you, that company has come a long way. I remember when Hallmark only made greeting cards. :D

Hallmark is not as christian as it use to be. They just made their first gay rom coms. It is becoming more liberal now

OK. Thanks for the heads up about Hallmark. I was thinking that since it's the holiday season I might be able to find some Christmas movies on Pureflix. So I was going to give it a try.

I don't think they have interesting movies, I won't even try watching from the site. Unless they have comedy movies since those are interesting and can be watched by all ages. But am sure there are fans who enjoy the site out here.

Comedy is not funny without sex, so expect their comedies to be funny for 70 year old moms and dads.
