The Rock seem to be the same character on every movie he plays. SO is John Cena... Batista on the other hand has range. He is not limited to action hero roles. Him being a biracial is also an advantage because he can switch between Asian roles and white roles. His acting roles had more range, he can play both hero and villain. He also dont seem to force creative control to his movies so he wont be problematic to movie producers like the Rock,

In the zombie movie Army of Dead, he is the typical action hero.


He shows is ability to play villain in 007 Spectre:


In Guardians of the Galaxy at MCU he shows his comedic chops.


In this horror movie, He plays a religious guy terrorizing a gay couple and their adopted daughter. Critics are praising his acting here because he transformed into a different person.
