WNBA is the least watched female sports in America. Why? First the rim is too high and women are not as tall, so less players can dunk . Dunking is one the reasons why Basketball is entertaining. Women basketball players are not as tall so most of them cannot dunk, Shaquille O'Neal had suggested to lower the rim so more women can dunk but the female players are egotistic about it and even got hostile about it. Average height in NBA is 6'5 and Average height in WNBA is 6 feet. If they dont want to lower the rim, their other choice is to have women taller than 6'5, so they will have to outsource in Russia, China,Netherlands etc. Tall women are rarity, so lowering the rim is a must to make the game more entertaining.

Second the players think way too highly of themselves, they love starting fights in social media with NBA players. If a male player compliment their performance, they will accuse him of sexual harassment. 80% of people who watches sports are men and if you are hostile to men, men wont watch you. Women are not interested on watching women's sports, so if they want an audience, they need to get men and not alienate. them.

Next are the uniforms make them look like men,



The most watched women's sport are Tennis, volleyball and MMA. I am not saying make them dress sexy but make the uniforms look cool at least.


Naomi Osaka doesnt show skin in this uniform but it makes her look cool.


Women's Basketball in Australia is more popular because look at their uniform.


Nepotism may also add interest, Women's boxing became popular when daughters of popular male boxers started to compete. WNBA almost got Gigi Bryant, the daughter of Kobe Bryant but she died from a plane crash.

I think biggest problem of WNBA is NBA is to popular. They must invest more in marketing for WNBA if they want attract more people to it, players and audience.
This Australian unifrom somehow is not sexy for me in basketball. I like classic basketball shirts like in first picture.

Maybe they're reacting the same way I sometimes do when I don't feel appreciated for all the magnificence I bring with me to any place that I grace with my presence.

If in tennis you can have mixed pairs, you can have it in basketball to. Maybe add some more rules to protect girls injury.

I dont think NBA will want to be associated with WNBA, Its financial suicide. WNBA is the only one who can save WNBA if they will lower the rim. The only Chance WNBA had was when Gigi Bryant is alive because her dad's name will boost any association she joins but she died with her dad.

I'm not into sports. There are just certain competitions in the Olympics I like to watch such as swimming, gymnastics, and running. But for football, tennis, and basketball? Eh!

If it weren't for the Harlem Globetrotters, I wouldn't even pay attention to the game of basketball.
