How will MCu survive this

Postby Netherrealmer » 19 Dec 2023, 12:35

The next Villain of MCU is Kang. Kang have a 5 year build up for all future MCU movies. here is the problem though..

Image

He is guilty of Assault of his ex girlfriend. So Marvel have no choice but to fire him. He got fired from all those projects because aside from being guilty... More ex girlfriends came up to accuse him to domestic violence. He could have been the next Thanos.

He already did 2 MCU projects, so they must find an actor to replace him.

I think since they are going with the multiverse saga, they can actually replace him with someone else. Well let's see how things goes though.

DC got Ezra Miller and Amber Hard while Marvel got Jonathan Majors . They should be careful on casting problematic actors.

Often they don't know there is a problem until after the fact. Like with Danny Masterson from that 70s show- they didn't know when they hired him that he'd turn out to be a serial rapist.

I agree, some very talented African American actors that will replace him without problems, I think it is better for the producers and the sake of the success of the movie to avoid working with problematic actors.

Most times it is usually after they have done the casting, that's when various news about them would start coming out.

if an actor or individual involved in portraying Kang were accused of serious misconduct or faced legal issues, it could indeed impact their involvement in future MCU projects.

Marvel Studios has a history of taking appropriate actions when dealing with such situations, prioritizing accountability and ethical considerations.

I am not concerned about their personal life, I just like to see them in movies and if they are good, they are good.

People who commit gender based violence should be ousted from every opportunity. They should not only be penalized by law but also by society. BY the way, I do not recognize this guy as I have stopped watching superhero movies a long time ago.

Advocating for a safer and more inclusive society is a powerful step towards positive change.

One also has right to what to engage with, as your preference reflects who you are.

More important thing is they will change director of all new movies. Latest movies become joke and comedy with SF things. They even consider getting back Iron Man in game which is probably possible with quantum world.I think actor is lesser problem even with his history.

Background checks help assess an individual's professional history, verifying their experience and reliability.

This is crucial for entrusting them with significant responsibilities in a long-term and high-stakes project.

Here are some rules if you want become MCU actor.
https://www.looper.com/139571/rules-act ... g-the-mcu/
One of the rules is: The studio conducts background checks on actors.
Still there was some floops but maybe all other rules make normal people go crazy.

Landing a role in the MCU is highly competitive. Be patient, and don't get discouraged by rejection. Keep honing your craft and improving.

Everyone's journey in life is different, just be persistent and never give up.

I read somewhere that they renamed the upcoming Avengers film as just "Avenger 5" instead of kang dynasty . Either they are completely abandoning the character or he will get a recast .
But KANG as a character has been very underwhelming overall . He as been defeated in both Antman 3 and Loki(dude became noodles) I don't get the same menacingly feel from THANOS .
I wish they just move on to some other villain already .

If they're looking to switch up the villain game, that could bring in some fresh energy. Marvel's got a ton of characters and baddies to choose from, so who knows what surprises they have in store.

Fingers crossed for an exciting twist in the next Avengers.

I strongly believe that Marvel is taking it's time to allow all the negative publicity that the Kang firing has generated die down. When they are sure the time is right, they would surely recast Kang. It is the crux of the entire story.

Given the significance of Kang in the overall story, recasting could be a potential move in the future. Marvel Studios likely wants to let the dust settle and manage the negative publicity before making any announcements.
