They have made so many super hero movies that I've gotten bored. I know they are still popular otherwise, why else would they keep making them. The love life of the superhero is something they use as "fillers" to try to give these super creatures a human side. They also need flaws or weaknesses. But really! People just want someone with super powers who can kick butt and get rid of the bad guys. JUSTICE! That's the true appeal of all of these heroic characters and that will never change, with or without a love interest.
