However, I believe that famous authors or artists should be well balanced in their world view and not be biased towards illogical conservative views, nor should they be dismissive of things that are traditional yet good.

I think there won't be issues and controversies with the series, as long as they respect the source material. That's all the fans wanted. And also, many fans do not like politics. They're so tired of the politics, especially with re-swapping of characters.

This sounds like a terrible idea.

I'm not a great fan, but what little I saw of the HP saga makes me quite confident when saying HP doesn't need a remake......or prequel....maybe a sequel....that might work......at any rate, I think this is quite a bad idea.

I can say the reason why we are having a remake. Originally, we were supposed to have a sequel with the original cast. But all of them hates J.K. Rowling. They hate her because recently she had controversial political beliefs. She doesn't believe that trans women are women. Trans women are men who had surgery to look like women. And recently in the U.S. and the U.K., those countries, the liberals especially, believe that trans women are women. Second, J.K. Rowling was canceled by Hollywood and also was canceled in the U.K. And she needs to make more money. Her recent books are not doing well. Recently she was writing Murder Mysteries, but they're not selling well. And no one wants to adopt them into movies. So in order for her to make money again, she wants to take advantage of the Potterheads. The Potterheads does not care about her politics and beliefs. All they care about is to see Harry Potter be adopted again. Also, many of those movies are not perfect adaptations. A Harry Potter book is 20 hours in a single day. The movies are just like 190 minutes. So a TV show can give the book more justice.

Heard about this a while ago and I'm kind of excited for it because I liked Harry Potter when I was younger. I don't expect it to be as good as the original, but it shouldn't be a total flop especially if they follow the plot. I'm just worried that since it'll be on HBO, they'll include nudity/sex scenes that are not necessary.

So expect a Black actor to play either Hermione or Ron.

Hermione is already Black in The Cursed Child so this wouldn't surprise anyone.

I guess that's what is stopping her current books from selling. They all talk about freedom of speech or expression, but when someone says something they don't like, they use it against them simply cause they have the power to do so.

No news yet, Just JK Rowling wanting complete ban of Transwomen in Women's sports and Women's dress room. She also want ban of gender affirming care for children.

I think what hurts JKR fans the most is she's being so vocal about her opinions, and talking negatively about anything she doesn't agree with. She can have her opinion, that's not the issue. The issue is she's being disrespectful to all the people who choose not to have the same opinion as her.
