She didnt accept it but Amanda Waller was written with her in mind. Viola Davis plays Waller now.

Elon Musk inspires the version of Marvel Cinematic universe of Iron Man. Seems the attributes of innovation of the character was drawn from Elon Musk.

I think the best semblance of DC and Marvel characters with real life persons is Hughes and Iron Man. They carried the same innovative ability to create inventions out of nothing.

Geoff Johns just immortalized his sister by creating creating super hero character adapted to her. That's a far better way to immortalize a loved one.

Malala Yousafzai is a Pakistani girl who fight for her rights for education, and because of that, the Taliban shoot her in the face, but she somehow survived that assassination. It happened when she's like 14 to 15 years old. Now she is an advocate for girls' education, and she fights for the rights of girls in Pakistan and Afghanistan to make sure they'll be educated. And because of that, Marvel used her as a prototype when they made Kamala Khan, a.k.a. Ms. Marvel.

Just like Malala, Kamala is a Pakistani girl, but she's American citizen and she's from New Jersey. That's the only difference she has with Kamala, but, you know, she never experienced being discriminated for being a girl. Instead, she is a superhero fangirl who became a superhero herself. But the way she dressed, the way she behaves, you will notice that she have the Malala characteristic.

I get what you're saying. Gaga's Harley Quinn in Joker: Follies à Deux feels different because she doesn't lean into a New York accent. That decision may have come about because she wanted to avoid direct comparisons to Arlene Sorkin's original animated Harley, or to Margot Robbie's widely beloved version in Suicide Squad.

Instead, Gaga switched to a dramatic, stylish delivery. One that fits the tone of the film's music, but doesn't echo the familiar "Brooklyn" voice that Harley fans have come to expect. To some, that makes Harley feel less authentic, especially since Gaga is a New Yorker. But it also shows that she wants to create her own interpretation rather than just copy what has come before.

Marvel and DC characters draw inspiration from real figures like Stan Lee’s own experiences shaping Spider‑Man, or historical mythologies influencing Superman’s creation, prompting discussions about how human experiences and cultural icons fuel comic book mythology and superhero narratives.
