The OG actors do not want to be associated with JK Rowling anymore because of her politics.

It's just sad. I used to really admire and respect that woman but she got too big for her boots and appears to have become bigoted. Sorry, not a fan anymore.

I'm not very excited about HBO getting its mitts on Harry Potter. Not to be funny but I almost always feel like American remakes of movies/tv shows suck the soul out of them, leaving me with nothing but a 'plastic' shell of what was once a GREAT show. Case in point, compare The Office UK vs The Office US . Maybe it's my personal thing IDK.

Unknown actors had signed a 10 year contract under her. The New Harry Potter show will not be a British production, It will be a Hollywood production.

Aw man! I was about to get excited until you mentioned Hollywood. I like British productions better.

It seems it would take awhile before the movie would come out. I was surprised to see that they are still looking for their cast a few days back.
