First is the issue with Aquaman 2, the movie is finished but they cant release it because of the Elephant in the room, Amber Heard. They can simply recast her but they are siding on her. They are waiting for the public hatred against her to melt away before they release Aquaman 2. Despite of being a finished film, they just shelve it for now.

2nd Problem is Ezra Miller, The Flash is a finished movie but they cant release it in theaters because the lead actor became a criminal. He beats up people and kidnapped a teenager.They are considering to recast him but rumors are they may not just release the movie.

He got another negative publicity






The next problem are actors want out. Henry Cavill wants to leave being DCEU superman because he is frustrated with lack of solo films. He got offers from MCU to play Sentry and he also wants to be James Bond.

Ben Affleck left from being the Justice League Batman when he is needed for both movies.

The least problematic DCEU actor is Gal Gadot AKA Wonder Woman but all of her movies are banned in the Middle east because she is a former Israel Army soldier. Most of the middle east sees her as a war criminal.

Then last and not the least, Batgirl a 90 million dollar budget movie that is finished and completed got canceled, It wont be released in theaters and HBO Max because the merger between discovery and Warner Brothers caused them Tax liabilities and Batgirl became the sacrifice.

Can we start by saying the comics are way too expensive? Also, the only comics selling has to have Batman included otherwise the rest aren't that interesting.

This is not problem done by actor since DC knew her history. They should just choose another female actor without any strings from past.

There was a similar case in India when Sanjay Dutt was sent to a final term of his staggered jail sentence. However, his case was not that of a Total Black and White and there was a sense of a person doing wrong but in remorse.
A few of his movies' schedules went off track and got shot only after he came back, except for a few replacement ones.
But the current scenario seems a bit different.
May be the movies are releases but with a very big upfront disclaimer.
After all, Reel and Real life are not the same!

DC comics sells higher than Marvel but they are a mess when it comes to movies. MCU actors had no scandal like Amber Heard and Ezra Miller did. Speaking of Amber, she is not leaving Johnny alone.

Do you think that DC should perform a complete reset when it comes to the casting of their movies? The banning of Gal Gadot's movies in the Middle East is very interesting, I haven't heard that one before.

This is a bit off-topic but have you seen DC Battle Arena? Marvel has its own MOBA game called Marvel Super War and that is much better than DC Battle Arena. IMO, DC also needs to revamp their mobile games asap.

Amber and Ezra are the only ones I consider problematic. In case of Ben and Henry, they are just unhappy and want out because they are not given solo films.

Ezra is going to jail for 26 years. They need to replace him asap.
