There is a popular handsome football player from Hawaii who was raised Mormon by his parents, With that he is not able to date women because Mormons have vow of chastity, They are required to save their virginity. So he focus on playing Football but he is still lonely. Then he met this girl online claiming to be a big fan of him. He fell in love to this girl not knowing its a catfish. So they date online and via phone. He was thinking he s online dating this girl who doesnt exist. Then one day, The catfish's conscience can't take it anymore, so it faked it's death, To free the football player from the scam. When he won the championship for his team, He dedicated the victory to his dead grandma and dead girlfriend.

Then the Media people are sleuths, They found out his dead girlfriend doesnt exist, Making him a laughing stock of the whole world. So the catfish got forced to comeout and defend him.

It was on this documentary Untold girlfriend.

This was the interview of the catfish

The catfish asked for forgiveness because it ruined the life of the football player because he became a center of jokes. Oh the catfish is now a transwoman. Apparently she catfishes men because she wants to feel like a woman but she is afraid to come out of the closet so she tries to pretend to be a real girl and catfishes men.

The catfish faked its death with the same level of courage that created its existence. If this character wanted to free the football player it would have come clean about everything. Instead, it pretended to be dead to 'free' itself from its own conscience and same time protect its ego. Nothing else, cares nada about the football player. Just doesn't want to "look bad" as if anybody knows it.

You know once he mentioned girlfriend someone was going to dig to get further info, especially since no one ever saw them together. I can't imagine how badly he must feel. Well, I hope all parties get the necessary help.

I think reporters or newspapers should start pay some penalty. There is just to much click bait or alarming news. With those they raise panic between people. Making funny from guy who was scammed is like make funny from man who got robbed or house got in fire. Victim is victim.
