I saw the final episode: basically, Diane is moving to Washington, D.C. to head the Democratic Party (newly bought by the owner of ChumHum, & soon launching the Presidential-bid of Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson), her husband Kurt quit his executive position at the NRA, Marisa just got married (to her Krav Maga trainer) and is moving to Washington, D.C. to work with Diane (she thinks it's going to be at a law-firm, but ...), and Investigator Jay just quit the Reddick/Ri'Chard law-firm to join a secret security-firm (though maybe the good fight portrayed it as more of a 'vigilante justice force') The Collective.
(And I don't think it takes away much from the story ... it's still an enlightening, exhilarating, educational watch, if you go to Paramount+ & watch all six seasons.)
So they say the story is over, but I think it's more like it has 'graduated'; like when you graduated from high-school or college or vo-tech: the school-story is over, but 'the good fight' goes on!
I think the main way it'll go on is through a partnership (like LAW & ORDER is a partnership between The Police & The Courts) between The Collective & The Law-Firm---they could call it Collective Justice.
What kind of spin-offs do YOU predict?
