DC gave James Gunn the ultimate creative control for DC. So his first move is cancel movies and show that wont go with his vision.
Many DC fans got mad when James Gunn fired Henry Cavill,Gal Gadot The Rock and many actors of the DCEU because he decided to close DCEU. He canceled Arrowverse too. He replaced them with DCU. Amber Heard and Ezra Miller did so much damage to DCEU, so James Gunn decided to end it.
There are DC shows and movies though that will survive but wont be part of James Gunn's Universe.
The Batman of Robert Pattinson and Joker wont be part of DCU, Shazam,Harley Quinn Animated series, Lois and Superman tv shows Survived. James Gunn will call them Elseworlds. === So what shows and movies we will get with DCU?
A new Superman movie that focuses with a younger College Clark Kent. Superman's cousin Supergirl will have her own movie after having a 6 season tv show. James Gunn wants a teen girl to play Supergirl
Paradise lost- Prequel of Wonder Woman, origin story of Wonder Woman's mom. Its about a power struggle of Amazons who wants to be queen.
Booster Gold An Attention famewhore wannabe influencer from the future stole a time machine and a battle suit because he wants to go to the past to be a Superhero. He will join the Justice league because he wants fame but the Justice League members gives him the most stupid missions like letting the old lady cross the road or rescue a kitten stuck on a tree. He is meant to be a lovely relatable loser.
Lanterns - A team of Green Lanterns
Brave and the Bold- It is James Gunn's version of Batman, Not related to Pattinson's version. Batman will have adventures with the latest person to take the mantle of Robin. His own son Damian. Damian is his love child with the super villainess Tahlia al Ghul.
Waller- origin story of Senator Amanda Waller, The boss of the suicide Squad.
Do you have actors and actresses for these roles. James Gunn wants young actors for his movies because of long term commitment.
