Trek Culture does! The surname Picard is that of a family from the French region of Picardy, a word built on ancient words that mean "Spike, Pike" (as in "Admiral Pike?").
I've seen the first two seasons of PICARD, in which ...
Picard is called out of retirement to meet with a new Borg threat, which sends him back in time to stop The Borg from ending Earth's Space-Program ... also, a 'relative' of Data (a 'relative' who doesn't know she's an android---one of many clones) somehow saves the universe from an android clone invasion, and meets Wesley Crusher who became a Traveler back in that episode of TNG.
And Q is also there for some big reason I forget. And Commander (surely a Captain/Admiral before he retired) is living with Deanna Troi, and they helped Picard.
The first season Star Trek: Picard finds Starfleet Admiral Jean-Luc Picard (Patrick Stewart) in his retirement. After leaving Starfleet in protest, Picard is trying to live the quiet life of a vintner on his chateau in France. When a strange young woman (Isa Briones) shows up at his vineyard asking for his help, Picard feels compelled to help her. When he sees her extraordinary skills, he is reminded of his old friend Data (Brent Spiner), a synthetic being who had always yearned for a daughter. Seeking answers to his own questions, Picard is pulled back into space travel as he races to save the young woman’s identical twin sister from Romulan assassins intent on killing her and all of her kind.
... In season 2 of Star Trek: Picard, an old frenemy returns to taunt Picard. After a surprise attack from the Borg, Q (John de Lancie) sends Picard and his crew to an altered dystopian timeline. To set things back to their current reality, Picard must look to the Borg Queen (Annie Wersching) for help traveling back in time to the moment where things went astray and caused the timeline to shift.

I am at 4th episode of season 3. Great show. Few old actors are back but still don't bring entire action so it is not like remake. I approve it and give 5 stars!

If they get back most of crew for season 2, why they didn't get back and Borg Queen who assimilate science officer Dr. Jurati. We have new nasty Borq Queen. Also at in last espisode they say Borg is almost destoryed and this is their last chance to survive but at end of season two Borg requested temporay join into Federation and stay guard new transwarp channel.
