... because High-School Movies are Actors' Chance to Be Kids Again ...

Postby friendociate » 22 Feb 2023, 18:54

Here are some actors who were over 30 when they portrayed teenagers
  • Emma Thompson (in "Sense & Sensability")
  • Ian Somerhalder (in "Vampire Diaries")
  • Stockard Channing (Rizzo in "Grease")
  • Jason Earles (the younger brother on "Hannah Montana")
  • Matt Lanter (in "Star Crossed")
  • Tanya Reynolds (in "Sex Education")
  • Bianca Lawson (in "Pretty Little Liars")
  • Darren Barnet (in "Never Have I Ever")
  • Shirley Henderson (Moaning Myrtle in the "Harry Potter" franchise)
  • Nicola Coughlan (in "Derry Girls")
What teenagers were you surprised to find out were actually 'closer to middle-aged' when you first saw them?

In the modern world, women celebrities can still be at young age by their looks. Most professional makeup artists are so good when it comes to changing the looks of the celebrities to young roles.

It is the opposite in SouthEast Asia, in the dramas there if you are over 30 you will be playing 50 year old roles. You will be the mom or dad or a 20 year old.
