So I watched Season 1 of Taxi Driver. It's a Korean drama TV Series. Now I'm on Season 2.
I know exactly why this show is so popular. IT RESONATES! In the real world, a lot of people - crime victims - feel like the justice system cared more for the criminal's rights than for the rights of law-abiding citizens who were innocent victims.
What If? ...
What if there was a way to make sure those criminals got what they deserved?Do you feel like there is no hope and that true justice will never be served? No problem.
Call a taxi! The taxi driver will pick you up, listen to your story, and then give you a couple of tokens to play a game.
You put the tokens in the slot and that starts the game. It's an easy game to play. The screen pops up with your choices. Choice 1: Blue - Take Revenge Choice 2: Red - Forgive.
16 episodes in Season 1 and ONLY ONE PERSON actually chose to Forgive. The team at the Rainbow Taxi Company was a little bit rattled by that choice. They really wanted to get the bad guys and punish them!
But guess what? There's a rainbow lining behind that choice of forgiveness.
There was a prosecutor working hard trying to find solid evidence of criminal activities to put these dirty rats behind bars. She was super angry because one of her loyal co-workers had been murdered and the murder was related to her investigation and to the case where the other client had chosen Forgiveness.
She pushed the Blue Button!Taxi Driver is a really interesting crime-solving K-drama. Have you watched it?
Interesting FACT: Some of the storylines in this series are based on true events. That really makes me sad.
