There is a Japanese Superhero Show titled Super Sentai, Super Sentai has been around around since 1970s.



Every Season they have a new batch of heroes and stories end after 49 episodes and each season have a different team, the team above have a Constellation theme and the biggest team in history of the franchise.

Its Episodes are usually purchased by Saban/ Disney... they remove the footages when Japanese actors are not on their costumes and replace it with American/New Zealand Actors faking an American accent. These recycled Super Sentai Episodes are called Power Rangers by the whole world.

America will now stop buying Super Sentai seasons and instead make 100% American made Power Rangers. Yes the costumes, the monsters and the set will be American made. They might use New Zealand and Australian actors though because they are cheaper.

Did you know Majority of Yellow rangers are men but USA loves turning them into girls. Female Sentais have skirts on their costume,.
Look at the 1st batch of power rangers, Pink have Skirt but yellow dont because in Japanese version its a man but in American version its a woman.


In a recent season they kept Yellow a man but turn Green in to a woman.

I used to watch Power Rangers with my kids. My granddaughter wasn't into it. It's good to see they are still popular. I liked them.

They will stop using footages of the Japanese show now. They are planning to make a 100% American made but with New Zealand and Australian actors because they are not members of Screen Actors Guild because they are cheaper than Americans and Canadians.

America wants to have at least 2 females. Sentai have seasons with 2 females but most of the time its a token girl. Now they divorced, America wants to have the 1st female red ranger, Red Ranger is the leader and its always given to a man. Netflix did it which pisses off Japan as they did it without their permission. That I think causes the divorce.

Last Power Ranger have lesbians. No trans ranger. Sentai had gay male ranger in the 80s. Japan is more progressives somehow.

new power rangers will stop using Sentai. So No more spandex. All American version will use rubber armor

Yes, I am aware of this. In fact, several cartoons were also made in lieu of Rangers. However, I am not fond of the Sentai Show and neither will I watch the Power Rangers. I am sure Power Rangers will find its audience and gain popularity as the world is now into superheroes.

I knew of Power Rangers but was totally unaware of Super Sentai. Interesting to know the origin of Power Rangers. It is rightly said that nothing is original, you hide the source and you are the genius.

Maybe the new owners, Hasbro, want more creativity in the writing of story lines. Could be a possible reason for the split.

It's possible though, most of the storylines are usually kind of boring to me.

Disney owns Power Rangers now and it's gonna be a Disney Plus show. I think there's so many reasons why they want to stop using Super Sentai. First, Super Sentai is getting darker and more mature. Not kid-friendly. And remember the female villains who looks Asian? Most of the time, they are porn actresses. That's why around early 2000s, the porn actresses are replaced by mascot villains. But I think Super Sentai wants to bring back the porn actresses. Also, Power Rangers wanted to have a female Red Ranger, Super Sentai refused to make that happen.
