Ichi Tthe Killer was interesting and pretty disturbing movie. Haven't read the manga to compare. Junji Ito's Uzumaki is brilliant manga but the live action covered barely 20% of the story and it didn't do it very well. It had some cool visuals but can't recommend it. Uzumaki would work much better as a mini series but actually it would be probably for the best to just leave it alone. Dragon Ball Evolution was just terrible and Edge of Tomorrow was a great surprise and probably the best live action manga movie ever made. Kenshin is on my list of movies to watch and there's Attack On Titan live action coming. I've heard GTO is quite good too...

It's a hilarious comedy about a shy boy who wants to become a pop singer but ends up in a metal band instead where he develops a crazy alter ego. The humor can be quite vulgar but it's a bit toned down for the movie as opposed to anime and manga.
Just noticed that Kenichi Matsuyama stars in every anime adaptation ever![]()
Death Note movies, Kenshin, Detroit Metal City and who knows what else...
