Do you like museums?

Postby OldGuy » 21 Aug 2022, 11:21

There are an astounding number of museums around the globe on a range of topics that go beyond your imagination. Most of us have an opportunity to visit museums in our own regions, but it would be an incredibly expensive vacation or holiday to travel across the globe to visit some of the spectacular museums we may have only heard of.

With a little bit of research, you can find virtual tours of museums online. The more you look, the more astounding it gets. You can visit and view thousands of museums almost like traveling the globe from your favorite armchair.

This link will give you a start to see some of the best displays

After that intro, do a little online research and discover hundreds more just waiting for your visit.

Yes I do like museums and I visit them when I have an opportunity to do so. But I am not traveling as frequently as I used to visit until a couple of years ago so I haven't visited any in the last two years.

I am glad you gave me a good option to do it from the comfort of my own place. Thank you.

I never used to like museums growing up. I found them stuffy and boring  But as I get older, I enjoy learning new things more, and that includes museums. So thank you very much for sharing that bit of information - I'll definitely be checking the link out!

I like museums very much. In example, Acropilis. It is so huge. And people built it much before the Christ. And all that perfect bodies of ancient greece statues. I do not know what to say.

I love museums. I have visited the one in my country countless times. I also visited one in Namibia and Mozambique. It was the best experience. I would love to visit more museums in different places, countries. Its really a relaxing and mind-blowing experience.

Yes, I do and usually make every effort to check them out wherever I find myself. There's much to see in these places and for the ones that allow it, I take photos for my personal library. I'll check out that link to see what's in store for me. Thanks!

Thanks for sharing that with us @OldGuy, the list looks great. I will make some time to "visit" the Smithsonian and the Van Gogh museum in Amsterdam.
