An interesting post about the impact being laid off from a tech job had on the writer. I don't necessarily agree with all the suggestions in the post, but it does contain ideas and advice worth considering.

This is also why people are encouraged to setup something for themselves, for some they might not remain the same again especially if they have notting to fall back to. This can affect them mentally and emotionally.
