Looks like a beautiful location, good for them. I wonder if many hiking groups travel in that area?

It looks great but I consider this enviroment hostile to. If something happend, you can't hide anywhere, no trees, no food. Just rocks.

These areas are away from the main highway to Ladakh.
However, I have seen a few more folks going there and doing camping or overlanding tours.
The numbers are not too many but gradually there are more people - mostly backpackers and those who go on their bikes , cars or Off road special vehicles trying to go there.

Yes, it looks good. Yet in these areas, one often sees snow and sub zero temperatures even during the summer months.
Life is very tough for the locals who stay there in summers as well as winters.
