AI Model : A quick comparison on what to use when!

Postby ptrikha21 » 17 Jul 2025, 14:58

It was not something that I was truly searching for. Yet I stumbled upon this interesting article which compares various AI Models:
GPT-4o, Grok 4, Claude and Gemini

https://felloai.com/2025/07/we-tested-grok-4-claude-gemini-gpt-4o-which-ai-should-you-use-in-july-2025/

These models are compared on various yardsticks of text searches, Image searches, Creative writings and many more.
Well written and good evaluation.
My one query is : Did the authors of this article used AI as an enabler for this article?
:)

Probably :)

I am happy with Chat GPT and have not explored many of the other AI models. I may be missing out, but just using one saves a lot of time trying others and I can continue to learn how to use it.

It is up to each individual. I have gained a preference for Perplexity for common stuff and for code, Claude looks more promising.

Gemini has improved in the recent times. Have you explored Leonardo.AI for image generation?
I have heard about it but need to give a try.

I wasn't familiar with that one. Have just taken a look and it looks great. I used it to create this image, which I like.

In my case, Gemini is better for programing than ChatGpt (Java language).
For history science stuff, NotebookLM was good enough. ChatGpt gave wrong information and missed century.

I think a lot also depends upon the use cases. For more research oriented programs, Perplexity is doing good. For certain technical issues, Claude.AI was good to use.

Of course, if one suits you, why to go for another, unless you are researching different models.
