I use an electric chopper. They aren't very expensive. When I bought mine, it was about $12.99. Now they're $16.99. But it's terrific!

We had a bella chopper but I lost the lid. So, we bought another. The contraption did not work. So, my roommate got upset and threw away instead of getting our money refunded and getting another name brand.
