I've never heard of ivy gourd. I'm fine with a nice piece of liver and onions on my plate as long as someone else cooks it so it's well done. If I have to prepare it I'll lose my appetite.
I had a difficult time with tomatoes when I was young. When I was pregnant I had a tendency to CRAVE tomatoes. Now I have to stay away from things like sesame seeds because my immune system can over react and attack my own tissues if I consume sesame seeds, oil, etc.
I like a lot of different foods but I have to pay attention to what my body will or won't tolerate.
