Re: What exotic food would you like to try?

I'm not sure, to be honest. As long as the food doesn't wriggle about, I'm happy to have a little nibble. One of my students, a Colombian, told me over there they're big on worms. She said they have this popular fast food chain that makes 'delicious' wormy burgers. Now, that's something I'll never ever want to try.

I just now recalled an incident from my childhood. My family never had much of any Italian style food because my dad hated tomatoes so I never even knew what much of any of it was. If it had tomatoes in the recipe, it was not on our menu.

I remember dropping in at some friends just as they were sitting down to a plate of spaghetti. Of course I had never seen it before. They told me they were eating a plateful of earthworms and although I just about gagged, I believed them.

I wonder how a plateful of earthworms would taste. Properly gutted, cleaned and cooked of course. Pass the spaghetti sauce!

Personally, I have never eaten an avocado. What does an avocado taste like?

Has anybody here tried eating rabbits? Rabbit meat is gaining some popularity in some areas of our country. But I don't want to try consuming them because they look so cute and jolly when they were still alive :(

So you have a cute bias? Then why you eat chicken, Pork and Beef. Cows, Chickens and pigs are cute too. Oh rabbit meat prevents cancer, The first three I mentioned causes cancer. Cows do have loyalty to their owners. Pigs are smarter than dogs and see their owners as their spouse.

Rabbits are pest in the wild. Jolly? rabbits are territorial a-holes. They are prey animals at the bottom at the food chain, they are food.
