I used to eat fast food, but after study and finding how dreadfully unhealthy it all is, I no longer touch the stuff. I no longer even go to restaurants for the same reasons. I only buy fresh ingredients from grocery stores and do my own cooking at home. I've lost an overall 75 pounds since making the change.

I want to know what I am eating and can at least control the unexpected extras that are frequently reported in news articles. Not only high fat, calories and unhealthy ingredients, but much worse, such as feces, spit and other unhealthy additives. Its all in there. Enjoy!

That has got to be french fries or chips from my side of the world. They are quite common and easily affordable plus the potatoes are widely grown here.

There were a couple of entries that mentioned "street food". That reminded me of my own favorite:

RK Stew.

You never quite know what is in it because it depends on your daily travels. Some critter gets in the way on the road and you just pick up the carcass for today's "Road Kill" stew.


I enjoy these long lists and trying to make some sense of it all.

I just now reviewed the posts to date and found the entire buffet to be an amazing collection. There were actually 211 unique foods that I found in the list. These are just the ones that were mentioned 3 or more times. There were about a dozen entries that also listed beverages, but none had more than 2 entries so I did not include them here. How many of these foods have you tried?

An international restaurant would probably do quite well if they just included those items with 5 or more mentions in this thread.

We live far from the city. So everytime I go there either for personal or business matter, fast food chain is my first option to dine in. I usually ordered rice meal w/ fried chicken or burger and spaghetti w/ pineapple juice.

Mine seems to change from time to time. At the moment I love cheeseburgers but I went through a long phase where I loved pizza. When you're really hungry any fast food seems satisfying.

I like McDonald’s especially their French fries. Lately when we go out we been going to BK for their nuggets they have their 10 piece for $1.49 and getting a big pop at the gas station to share it is cheaper than at BK.

My favorite is Jollibee, KFC and Wendy's. Mc Donalds is not my favorite

KFC is good don’t have one by us but when we are by them we will stop same with Wendy’s only get there occasionally.
