“Only the pure in heart can make a good soup.”
True or False?

That is false and how do you expect me to know who wrote it?

Ludwig van Beethoven

Is it okay that I cheated and looked it up?

* * Somehow I never associated classical music composition with soup. Yeah. Beethoven said it. :)

Guess there is a connection. Music and soup are both good for the soul. Agree or disagree?

I agree with @bestwriter though. I think that's false. :D

Well maybe the pure of heart just does a better job at making the soup because they put love into what they make. Love makes everything taste better. Don't you think?

* * When you put it that way, though I'm not a mind reader, that's probably what Beethoven was thinking.

Would you like it if you could read other people's minds?

(I would hate it! Half the time I'm trying to empty junk out of my head I didn't even want to get in there! I'd go crazy if I could read other people's minds.   )

As long as I could turn it on and off at will then okay. Sometimes, it would be nice to know what people are thinking. Not necessarily everything but maybe just at the moment that you are interacting with them. Some people I wouldn't want to know what they are thinking. I'm crazy enough already.

What if it was just to gauge their genuineness?

Whether to

or just to count

I'm just trying recycle useful words and phrases. They're perfectly good words. Why not reuse them again and again?

Why reuse them again and again when there are many others words in the dictionary?

OK! I cheated!
I said "recycling" but I was "stealing" the words right out of their mouths. It's a euphemism.

Don't you like using figures of speech like euphemisms and metaphors? :D

Euphemisms can be fun. Do you like innuendos too?

No I do not like innuendos. They are hurtful. Are they not?

Agree. Innuendos give off a hurtful and spiteful vibe. But I do like figures of speech like paradox, irony, simile, onomatopoeia, etc. We had to learn what they were and how to use them as a literary or writing tool in my English literature class in high school.

What were you required to learn in your high school literature class?

We had to study American literature, English literature and World literature.

Were you required to study literature?

Sorry. That's 2 questions. Please don't kick me out of the game for breaking the rules!

I just like to say onomatopoeia!!!
English Lit was one of my favorite subjects in high school. I loved reading so it was right up my alley.

What was your favorite subject in school?
