It is #6. Basically a number between 2 which is the first reply and the number of total posts at the end is drawn and if it is 8, it would be the 8th post for example.

This will hopefully remove the predictability of the contests as users were kinda wise that we would be unlikely to close it one day after starting or would watch out for when an admin was online. Now if you post on day one or day 6, you have the same chance.

Ah, in the future, it would be nice if there were an added challenge to these contests. Perhaps, ask users to do a storyline forum game or write about a certain topic? It'd be interesting to see what comes up.
