Mafia is a game with 2 sides, the innocent townspeople, and the evil mafia.
The game has two alternating phases: "night", during which the mafia may "murder" an innocent, and "day", in which surviving players debate the identities of the mafia members and vote to eliminate a suspect. Play continues until all of the mafia has been eliminated, or until the mafia outnumbers the innocents. (From Wikipedia)
There are also special roles. There is a cop that can choose a player at night, and learn what role and side they are on. A doctor can protect a player. A jailkeeper blocks a player's night action if they have one, and protects them.
In the setup for this game, two or one of these will be in the game.
For the innocents to win, all mafia members must be lynched.
For the mafia to win, the mafia must outnumber the innocents.
Rules:
1. If you die, don't post information.
2. Don't cheat.
3. This is a forum game, so have fun.
4. During the day period, bold your votes. "Vote: Mafia person" is not a vote. "Vote: Mafia person" is a vote.
5. Don't post while it's the night phase. You should be sleeping.
6. If you are going to be inactive, tell me or post in this topic. If it's night, rule 5 will be bypassed, because this is important.
