This was a popular game few years ago and I'm going to revive it


To play this game:

1. Pick an integer between 1 to 100 (1 and 100 inclusive). Any non-integer or integer outside the range of 1-100 are invalid.

2. Give (Donate) 1 ForumCoin to me (BitCastDaily).

3. Send the number you picked through PRIVATE MESSAGE to me (BitCastDaily). Any number posted publicly (in this thread or elsewhere) will NOT be counted in this game.

4. The first 20 members to send me 1 ForumCoin are enrolled into this game.

5. Each member is only allowed one place in this game, i.e. if you send me 2 ForumCoin and 2 numbers only the first number that was sent to me in private message will be valid.

Who will be the WINNER?

1. The WINNER will be the valid player whose number is closest to 1.2 x (Average of the 20 numbers sent in by the 20 enrolled players).

Let me illustrate this point with the example of 10 players. Let's say the 10 numbers sent in were:

1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10

The average of the numbers = (1+2+3+4+5+6+7+8+9+10)/10 = 5.5.

The winning number = 1.2 x 5.5 = 6.6

Hence the WINNER is the player who picked the number 7 (the closest number to the winning number).

2. If 2 or more players picked the winning number, the player who was enrolled the earliest (i.e. the player who gave/donated 1 ForumCoin to me at the earliest time) will be the WINNER.


3. The WINNER will be rewarded 10 ForumCoin by me (who would have collected more than 20 ForumCoin from you guys).

Ok 50 players seem too many. I will reduce it to 20, at least for this round.

As demonstrated by the huge volume of responses, it appears even 20 participating members is wishful thinking.

There is no deadline. What if only one member responds? Does that mean there will never be a winner? What if less than 10 respond? Does that mean you will cough up the difference to pay out the winnings? What if you just leave the site? Is there any guarantee of return for those who join your game?

Think it through. Rather than a specific count, why not say all who respond by a given date will be included in the play? Rather than a set payout, why not make it 50% of whatever goes in the pot? Include terms to guarantee any payout.

It is gambling. Is that even legal on this website? Should this even be in the Games category, or should it be in the ForumCoin Exchanges category as an advertised offer? Maybe improve the bait and you might catch some fish.
