Black Squad is a free-to-play, military-themed First Person Shooter (FPS) developed by a team which was assembled around former A.V.A producer Park, Bo-hyun, at South-Korea-based NS Studio.
Previously titled as ‘Viper Circle’ the shooter project made it to public Closed Beta in 2013, but went through a complete overhaul afterwards, as the team changed from a near-future setting to a military theme with some elements of modern warfare.

Black Squad will pit two teams against each other in various game modes and related maps that can host for 5-vs-5, 8-vs-8, 10-vs-10 and ‘large scale’ 16-vs-16 matches. The 16-vs-16 mode is called ‘Battle Mode’ and allows players to call for airstrike and artillery support, based on a special combat skill system. In Battle Squad players can choose from many modern realistic firearms and improve their FPS skills in over 20 maps in the upcoming Beta version.

Battle Squad is set to enter Closed Beta in Korea by the end of August.
