Do branding and logos matter more than the product itself?

Postby kat82 » 22 Sep 2025, 02:49

Some average products sell well only because of strong branding. Do you think branding beats quality?

I'm not sure about branding beating quality, because if a product or service gets a bad reputation for quality that will affect their brand image and sales will fall. That's not to say that branding is not very important, look at the success of Apple and designer clothes companies, the value is in their brand.

Most people have tendance to make logo with insmind and AI services rather than hiring a professionnal designer.

I totally agree with you. A strong brand can attract the attention of clients. But without lasting quality, it cannot survive for long. The best success comes when branding and quality move hand in hand.

Your question is very important. It is true that brands and logos can quickly attract customers, especially when they are built with creativity and a strong message. This helps the product to identify itself in the market.

However, the quality of the product is the foundation of long-term success. Customers may buy the first time because they are attracted to the brand, but they come back again because of the quality. Without quality, the brand loses its power.

The best way is to combine both. A strong brand increases appeal, and a good product builds trust. If we focus on these, a business can grow rapidly and sustainably.
