Back in the day, before ad blockers became the norm and started interfering with advertising revenues, some site used to have a revenue-share program.

HUBPages was one of those sites. Basically, if your page had visitors, HP would share the Google AdSense earnings with you. I used to make about $50 every 3 months. Then, after ad blockers, it was like every 6 to 9 months. Finally, HP gave up the program altogether. It was nice while it lasted.

Yeah and Medium is not all that. At least not for me. I guess I'm just not that dedicated. I use Medium with the hope of driving traffic to my standalone blogs. If I also earn from my Medium, that's gravy.

If you can figure out how Vocal.Media decides that you've written a Top Article, then go with them. They pay $5 for your article and then after that you can earn from unique views.
