This is 2024 and people don't have time to waste on things that are not proving any reasonable value to them and Mylot may just happen to be one of such.

Are you still active there @JolietJake?

No, I finally decided I had better use of my time. After pay cuts and employee cuts that were made I decided I did not want to do the work of two people for less than half the pay. Nothing against myLot, but too much of a headache.

Woah, I didn't know you received a "proper" pay there.
Either way, sad to see and hear myLot is getting worse and worse.

Why did they have to reduce the pay for a site that wasn't even that popular. They wanted people to leave and they got it now.

You need to have friends and interact better to also have the kind of interaction you need on your posts.

Maybe they weren't generating the revenue required to pay them. It's not easy to pay people to participate on a site, if there isn't much money coming in.

Revenue is most important and no website can survive without it. They are trying to survive by paying less and this also means it can sold off Or closed in some time

Already, it was not clear what rate they were paying for user's interaction, now they have lowered it also? Great! The site will definitely prosper.

Wow, in you they've lost big time! I haven't been back there in so long I didn't know about these new developments. I've considered going back over the years but never have. It's done well to stay up for so long, and I bet there are some die-hards who still go there religiously.

I think that it is just better they close down the site as it is evident that the site won't get much traction from user activity.

The revenue factor could be a big factor. I see some people with whom I used to interact quite a lot either becoming inactive or getting less frequently.
Even I am not so active due to many factors including offline works and some recent challenges in life.
The Lesser earning rate does impacts the motivation level a bit.

I was out for months and came back this month to post and have never visited again. I am planning to interact again because I miss the people on MyLot.

Posting on Mylot would mostly be for social interactions nowadays than for earning because the earnings are almost non existent.

You'll still find value in the social interactions and discussions that take place on Mylot.

If social interactions are really a priority to me, I would stay on social media and not on a supposedly paying forum.

Yes, exactly.

Have you had much of a problem with AI here? It was starting to be a nuisance at myLot.

Unfortunately the admin never replied to my messages, I gave up on this site as much as I was close to the threshold.

You should have paid more attention to the site guidelines, you'd been there long enough, your actions got you banned so don't blame me. But I did tire of people doing this, instead of being responsible for their own conduct, they tried to blame me for banning them unfairly. Since I am no longer Admin there, I no longer have to keep my mouth shut about this. You reap what you sow.
