Why is this 'unfortunate'? Before, when you got paid for your own actions, you could only get paid one time for each of those actions. If they paid .0050 for a response you made (just as an example), you got paid for it one time and that was it. Now since they pay for the interaction that response gets from other users, it can (and does) earn every time someone interacts with it.

They were good while they lasted. Some of them pay up to 20 dollars for just one article. There use to be members who focuses on them alone.

The earning comparison is easy to make.
It used to be you got paid for what you did, and that was that. Once paid, that discussion/response/comment you had made became 'dead' to any more earning potential.
Now, you do not get paid at all to make that discussion/response/comment. But it earns for every time someone else interacts with it until the Internet dies. Technically unlimited earning potential for it.

But oh, the site design...our profiles and home pages were a 1000 times more flexible and much more interesting. You could customize your home page to show particular groups of new discussions, you could edit your profile to show (or to not show) everything you did on the site, as mentioned HTML sorties on your profile, just a completely different world. Reminds me of the old MySpace profiles in a way.

Combining that design with this payment algorithm would be almost perfect.

Wow, it sounds like MyLot has gone through many changes! I also never knew about those tasks until it was mentioned here. But from what you're saying, it sounds like we earn better with this new version. I do like how you used to be able to customise your page - that sounds like fun!

What is username on MyLot? I stopped visiting FC because of my offline work. I need more focus on my work. But I still visit MyLot.

Yes, I know some members earned a lot from those offers, especially when those offers were from a reliable source.

My username there is ARIES1973. That was my name in almost all of my sites before. I am also busy with my day job but I love to be interacting with the right people online. That is why, I would see to it that I visit FC almost everyday. I am also looking to give more time with myLot.

I Always Wonder why Mylot have lots of Chinese members while we barely have Chinese members here. We are not blocked in China.

I think it may have something to do with how the site is categorized. Plus China is just weird about the 'net anyway.

I don't think there are a lot of Chinese members in Mylot, there are a great number of users from the USA and we can also find many members from Philippines.

I think from those you listed I only recognize jefferson126, maybe I am not interacting with them and that is the reason why it seems to me that Chinese members aren't in big number there.

Oh wow, really?! That surprises me because I just thought the Chinese don't generally frequent money making platforms. I guess I took for granted they must prefer their own because I never seem to see them in large numbers.

And Youless...I haven't saw them for several months, but they've been a regular there for many years now.

I've been paid for the past 63 months in a row, I assume that would mean it is paying until now.

I had removed my PayPal email from my account because I was going to wait until I earned more than 5 dollars. But then I changed my mind and updated my settings. I'd rather get paid each time I reach $5.

I believe most users prefer to receive the money as soon as they reach the minimum but I know at least two users who mentioned that they removed their PayPal to let the money build. We can do that in Mylot as it is a reliable site but I wouldn't risk with some other sites.

there are only 3 sites that I don't mind let my money build before cashout, Mylot, Forum coin and Prolific Academic but lately I have been requesting my payments earlier than usual too. We are living in a pandemic and we don't know how this will end
