Sorry to ask but is it that alot of people join this forum to earn or for just connecting with other people then get an incentive for enganglement?what makes people dislike the site so much?

Those people who are disappointed there are just for the money type... If you do Mylot do not do it for money but for fun...

Laughs, not everyone love fun for nothing, when their is money, the fun becomes like fantasy. Meaning money is the first primary thing that comes in users mind visiting the forum.

Some people make between $20-$40 there each month. While they are having fun. It is NOT the site that earns slow. People expect to be able to jump right in and get rich.

If people aren't going to spend the time necessary to get people interested in them, that is their fault and not myLot's fault.

$6 per month is much more than we can earn in other sites. People can earn a lot in Mylot but they must be aware that they must spend there a great part of their time. The community is very active and often helps and welcome newbies, if you dedicate enough time to it you will notice that it is possible to earn more than that every month.

An explanation is in need: I wasn't blaming MyLot. I only needed to say for lot of us it's hard to participate to whatever program for free. The point is not blaming MyLot, but: there are people that are not interested at all at rewards of whatever site. I remember some italian colleagues of mine telling they were participating to our content marketplace because they considered the platform a wonderful outlet. For me, it wasn't an outlet. it was a job. While they would have published articles that cost several hours, days and weeks of hard work even in the case the platform won't pay them a single penny, I would have left the content marketplace if the rewarding program could stop (and that I really did, when the content marketplace scrammed). Those colleagues of mine had other sources of income and were able to cover all their bills, taxes and they could maintain their families without worries. They were in search of wonderful outlets to hang up, not an online job.
Now, maybe Mylot suits some users that are able to earn up to 40 dollars per month (and this is a very good thing), while other forums suit other users. Each user needs to feel free to choose what suits better to him/her. I stay into various forums, including MyLot and I'm aware I lack free time to earn considerable amounts (and I know MyLot hasn't the fault of my lack of free time).

I can't quite remember when I joined MyLot but I think it was around 2014-15 and it's never changed since. So, I never experienced the old version and can't say how the two compare, sadly

The earning comparison is easy to make.
It used to be you got paid for what you did, and that was that. Once paid, that discussion/response/comment you had made became 'dead' to any more earning potential.
Now, you do not get paid at all to make that discussion/response/comment. But it earns for every time someone else interacts with it until the Internet dies. Technically unlimited earning potential for it.

But oh, the site design...our profiles and home pages were a 1000 times more flexible and much more interesting. You could customize your home page to show particular groups of new discussions, you could edit your profile to show (or to not show) everything you did on the site, as mentioned HTML sorties on your profile, just a completely different world. Reminds me of the old MySpace profiles in a way.

Combining that design with this payment algorithm would be almost perfect.

Great exlplaination on the comparison between the older version and the newer version of my lot.I really think its very easy to achieve massive value from this site even if people really discourage alot that you can hardly find success on this site.

It's not possible to earn that amount even in 10 days as a new member, the way the site give pointe is different from others.

Actually you are quite wrong stating 'that is the only way to earn', but whatever. The truth is you could make one post, never do anything else, and earn $100 from it if enough people showed interest in it.

I think that 6 $ a mounth is easy at myLot cause 0.2 $ a day will be sufficient to reach this target .

Yes, 6 dollars per months is a good amount for me too, as in this period the dollar is more than 5 times my currency.

Not possible... I think around 2 usd perhaps. So, never do Mylot thinking lots of money in return but if you enjoy sharing ideas... Money is just a bonus...
