I think if a user talks to admin for donation, the admin would process it manually. But it might take time since it would need for the admin to be online to process that.

There might be new owners but I believe he makes the decisions since he is the person that manages the forum and he is very knowledgeable in Forum management. There is a reason they can't remove him. He might still be managing it for them throughout the next decade.
