India's smartphone exports to the US have witnessed a remarkable surge, increasing by 148% in August alone. This robust growth has pushed total exports to $1.53 billion in 2025, a significant rise from the previous year. In the first five months of FY26, exports reached $8.43 billion, nearly tripling from $2.88 billion in the same period of FY25. This momentum is attributed to robust demand and proactive manufacturing initiatives like the Production Linked Incentive (PLI) scheme, positioning India as a key player in the global smartphone supply chain.
