I'm not ready to try Google Play because I'd want it on a dedicated device. I don't have enough devices in my house. I already play Cheddar TV videos on a dedicated device.

It's not a new way to earn though. Apps/sites like these have been around for a long time. They make money off the ads they make you watch. It takes a while for the money to add up and some say it's not even worth the electricity or data to run them, but to each's own. If you already like watching these types of videos, then getting paid to watch them is a great option. I personally run the videos on a separate advice (on mute) and maybe it generates like $5 a month when there are enough ads.

Those microdrama apps have a few common categories of dramas you can choose from. There are Chinese dramas with English subtitles, Chinese dramas with English dubbing, and English-language dramas featuring unprofessional Caucasian actors with no acting background who happen to be in China. There are also versions that use American-accented actors, who are either Canadian or American. These often appear to be filmed in tropical locations, sometimes resembling Hawaii or Florida.,

I guess those dramas are made with AI to low cost. For monetization share some ad revenue with audience.

Well, it depends. There are some micro-dramas that are made with AI, but majority of micro-dramas uses human actors. But there is a chance that the script was written by AI because, you know, they keep on They keep on spouting new content faster than Netflix, but they do use real actors.
