Postby bestwriter » 20 May 2026, 01:32

Needs and wants are distinct categories when it comes to spending While wants give one pleasure needs stake care of life.

Are you more into wants or needs? What did you buy recently that was a want?

I'm frugal and I'm a saver. I only spend money on needs, not wants. My most recent "want" purchase is my MacBook Air. I got it to replace my 10 year old Windows laptop (which works, but is slow and Windows 10 is no longer supported). Using my MacBook Air, I've earned enough online income to cover the cost of the laptop.

So my MacBook Air was more like an investment

This is a neat policy.
You are gonna not find yourself in stiff financial difficulties.

Life can be pretty boring if we do not satisfy our wants occasionally

I'm actually very frugal, but i would most definitely splurge on stuffs that saves time and makes life less annoying. In terms of needs and want, I do both. I take care of my needs first. I usually create a scale of preference that I plan with and after that, if I have a few extra cash, I buy some other items that I like even though they aren't pressing needs.
