when i'm formating a computer for someone, i always check the RAM... if its less than 4GB, i install 32bit windows, if more than or equals to 4GB i install 64bit windows.

but wow! i didn't knew that 64Bit processors have been arround for so long '-'

This was something I had a hard time understanding. I even tried to install both because I didn't know how what to install. I guess this is a good help for those who do not understand the computer language just like me.

you actually CAN use a 64Bit windows with less than 4GB, with no problem, but i think that the true potencial of 64bit operating systems are shown when you have more than 4GB
