And yes, its always good if developers go to the forums..twitter...etc... and interact with the consumers, with the players.
For example, when Flying Wild Hog released Shadow Warrior in the PC a developer gonne to the steam forums and create topics if people are liking the game , what the players think should be changed , etc . The same developer check the forum sometimes , interact with the players and fix some problems that players may have.
