As per news, Sundar Pichai, CEO of Alphabet and Google has announced the establishment of 120 Million USD Global AI Opportunity Fund.
The purpose : Provide AI Education and Training to underserved communities across the Globe.

During a CEOs Meet with the Indian PM Modi in New York, Pichai lauded PM Modi's Forward thinking to AI and Technology to address real-world problems.

He also acknowledged the associated risks with AI such as the emergence of deep fakes and concerns about the widening gap in AI access between different regions.

This investment that Google is making for the advancement of AI, what do they stand to gain from it?

Most of the companies now have a CSR - Corporate Social Responsibility obligations.
Plus some companies have passionate folks who like to work for and give back to communities.
Also, the folks would likely use Google Gemini AI system.
So, the Gemini AI adoption would increase.
This would be a longer term, sustainable and win-win benefit for Google's AI products.
There could be some other benefits which I am not aware though.
