Gaming do you finish what you start?

Postby sweerie_banana » 05 Apr 2025, 04:41

I realized the other day that I leave so many games half-done.
Sometimes it’s burnout, other times I just get distracted.
But there’s something satisfying about actually rolling credits.
I’m trying to change that this year.
Do you usually finish what you start, or nah?

I will finish the game if the story makes me invested. If it is like not interesting, I will go to another games. Too many choices, too little time.

It's one of my life goals to finish the horror video game Siren because it's one of the scariest game of all time but it's so frustrating to play. And then when they decided to turn one of my favorite characters into a monster I have to kill, I lost motivation. I still have plans to finish the game but it's been 7 years.

I stop playing games if I get bored, or if I'm too busy to finish them. I might come back to them later, or I might not.

I admit that there are times when I do not finish the games I start. I get bored with them, or I do not have enough time to finish them.

There are games so fun, I finish them in a week, then there are ones that took me a year to finish

Usually I try to finish what I start, but there are times when a shiny new game pulls my attention away.
