Is Xbox a game or a tool?

Postby kat82 » 03 Jun 2025, 13:11

I have seen people advertise Xbox on Amazon. Just wondering what this is. Is a tool or a game? If game is it standalone when it comes to playing?

Are you trying to say that I can connect Xbox to my PC and play games? I thought the Xbox was a standalone thing that can help me play just like that.

I think what he ment is that it is better to go for a gaming pc than just buying an xbox. With a good gaming pc i believe you can still play Xbox games and even play station games.

No PC is better as it gives you access to both old and new games.

Gaming pc is also great for graphic designing and video editing, for those who are into this line of work.

So a normal computer can't do gaming. I must search for one if it's advantages goes more into making money by simply mining

Every computer can play games but there are some games that requires more power, that's where gaming PC comes in. These computers are usually a lot more expensive as well and packs more power.

You can also use it to play DVDs and Blue Rays if that's something you're into.

A lot of movie fans still like to hang on to physical media because we don't trust streaming services.

It depends what kind of games you want to play. I have a normal PC and it can handle the cosy games I like (Stardew Valley etc.) without slowing down. If I want to play something more graphics heavy I use a console (we have a Playstation) or borrow my child's gaming PC. They also have a special gaming headset and gaming mouse (you can click faster with it than a normal mouse, doesn't matter for normal stuff but it helps with some games).

There is no particular brand since most pc are Frankenstein computers. You will be best parts of a computer to build one. If former Superman and future James Bond can build his own pc buy just buying the best parts, you can too.

Impressive. I think I will also build mine by getting the best parts just like Superman and future James Bond did.
