Fashion designers have a hard time dealing with Shein and Temu making imitations of her design, which is a skort. An skort is a skirt combined with a short. And even though her design is patented, a lot of stores and Shein and Temu make imitations of her work, of her original design. To make it worse now, AI is now being used to steal her designs. There are now commercials of skorts who just replace her face because basically she uploaded videos on Instagram of her testing her own invention and design. And because she's Asian, they just replace it with the face of a white woman. And it's hard for her to battle these imitations. Not only they can steal her designs, they also steal her commercials.

China didn't care about our copyrights BEFORE AI.

I had a friend from China who once told me that China was notorious for "piracy". Not the treasure-seeking pirates on the ship. The other kind of pirates who steal ideas, creations, or products, i.e. the other kind of treasure.

AI is making it easy for everybody to be PIRATES! Arrgh!

That's why if I will have an invention and my invention will be mass-produced, I'm not going to have a factory in China no matter how cheap it is because China will still make cheap knockoffs and you may get the blame from those cheap knockoffs.

Exactly, it's still a human who prompt the ai to do this at the end of the day.
